My journey with baking started long before Butter Blossom Bakery ever existed.

At just 10 years old, I began baking pound cakes and quickly turned that passion into my very first business, Taylor by the Pound. What started as something fun and creative grew into something real with orders, customers, and responsibility. At that age, I didn’t fully understand what it meant to run a business, and eventually, the workload became more than I was ready for.

 

So, I stepped away. But the love for baking never left.

 

As I grew older, I found myself reflecting on that early passion. I thought about the excitement of creating something from scratch, the comfort that baking brought me, and the joy of sharing it with others. There was something special about it that I couldn’t ignore. At some point, I realized this wasn’t just a childhood hobby. It was something I truly loved and something I wanted to return to.

 

Butter Blossom Bakery is my way of coming back to that passion, but this time with intention, growth, and a deeper understanding of what it means to build something meaningful.

Based in Atlanta, Butter Blossom Bakery is rooted in community, creativity, and connection. I’m proud to share my work locally through markets, pop-ups, and small-batch offerings, and to be a part of the moments people choose to celebrate, unwind, and indulge.

 

Today, I focus on creating rich, decadent pound cakes that feel both nostalgic and elevated. Each recipe is crafted with care, inspired by the same love I had when I first started, but refined with the vision I have now. Baking has become more than just making desserts. It is a creative outlet, a form of expression, and a way to connect with others.

 

Looking ahead, my vision for Butter Blossom Bakery is to continue growing within Atlanta and beyond. I plan to expand into more local spaces, build meaningful partnerships, and create a consistent presence where people can experience what Butter Blossom has to offer. Whether that takes the form of weekly drops, retail placements, or something even bigger, the goal remains the same. I want to create desserts that feel intentional, memorable, and worth coming back for.

 

What makes this journey so meaningful is that it feels like a full circle moment. I’m not just baking cakes. I’m returning to something that was always a part of me, just waiting for the right time to grow into what it is now.
